Globulin

The Globulin test measures the total amount of globulins in the blood — a group of proteins that play important roles in liver function, blood clotting, and fighting infections. Globulins include alpha, beta, and gamma globulins, which help transport nutrients and act as antibodies. Abnormal levels may indicate liver disease, kidney disease, immune disorders, or certain infections.
